You know i really didnt know this, I am soo impressed.
I heart Chris. (Season Discount?) Guys we dont need coaching, we need to quit our day jobs, find a lake in North Dakota start a solid 'roids habit and practice 8 hours a day. Side note though - I just want to point how well ilya has been playing recently. Particularly he didnt get in great shape, he didnt practice an additional hour a day or whatever... all he did was get his mental game in check. He figured out the game. He didnt get overly emotional and put too much pressure on himself to be everywhere and no where at once. He doesnt get confused and overwhelmed as to what to do and become the lost man in the desert... Instead he finds his spot as a trailer for the MASSIVE rebounds all these goalies give up. He wins the battles in front of net and in the boards, not by size and strength but by sneakiness using skate and stick to get the advantage. Through decent back checking and its a whole other game. There is still LOADS of work to keep the stick down and learn how to catch a pass but its a really big leap especially in roller and ice - so just want to point that out. Warning: if you get cocky I'll trade you for a piece of sausage! - on that note, lunch time! |
